As much as we'd love to write today's 5 Things about 70 degree weather, a 20 percent property tax decrease and free Allie's donuts for all, we have to stick to the facts. (That'd be a pretty amazing day though, right?)

- Stony Lane Elementary School will host their talent show, "Stony Lane's Got Talent," tonight at 7 p.m. Head on over and discover the next Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber or [insert talented star who hasn't had a public breakdown yet].
- The North Kingstown Chamber of Commerce holds its annual meeting tonight at the Quonset 'O' Club at 5 p.m, featuring guest speaker April Williams of North Star Marketing.
- For today's weather, we'll see a chance of showers this morning before 10 a.m., followed by mostly sunny skies with a high around 50. Tonight will be pretty calm as temperatures fall into the 30s and then bump back up to 52 Friday with sunny skies.
