5 Things: Air Show, Strawberries & Kickin' Cancer

Five things to know for June 15.

1.  The skies over North Kingstown are going to get mighty loud this week as the 2012 Rhode Island National Guard Open House & Air Show returns to Quonset this Saturday and Sunday, featuring the Thunderbirds. Check out to this year's air show and – in case you missed it – here's !

2.  Help a on Sunday. The tournament benefits a North Kingstown girl, Georgia, who is battling her second bout of cancer. .

4.  returns to tomorrow! Enjoy strawberry shortcake and pay homage to the humble wild strawberry – a fan favorite of the early colonists and native Narragansett. There will also be petting zoos, pony rides, balloon twisters and face painters. Runs from noon to 4 p.m. tomorrow. Cost is $7 (which includes a $2 food voucher).
