TREASURER RAIMONDO VISITS WICKFORD FARMERS MARKET

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — As part of her Smart Money Tour, General Treasurer Gina M. Raimondo stopped by Treasury’s booth at the Wickford Farmers Market to help people begin the unclaimed property process and to discuss how Treasury’s services can help Rhode Islanders become financially empowered.

“In order to become financially empowered people must first know what tools to use,” said Raimondo. “Providing Rhode Islanders with a convenient way to begin the unclaimed property process and learn more about financial empowerment will give them these tools needed for a successful financial future.”
