Re, Pink Chair Host Neighbors Party

Last week, two neighboring businesses held a party to help promote local artisans and raise money for military families in need.

With block party season nearly upon us, two North Kingstown businesses decided to kick things off right with a Friendly Neighbors Party last week. Re and their neighbors across the street Pink Chair Consignments hosted vendors and local artisans at their two shops, with products ranging from hand-crafted wooden ducks to clothing to jewelry to home decor.

"We try to do about four of these each year," said Heidi Weilburg Stevens, co-owner of Re. "In this economy, many local artists are struggling so much and we try to help with events like this."
