Foodies: Feeding Wickford One Bite At A Time

Foodies of Wickford breaks into the new year with big taste.

Mango and ginger stilton? Chocolate and peanut butter truffles? Quiche with leeks and artichokes? Foodies of Wickford does it all and more.

Foodies barged into the new year with a , taking over the old Bagelz/Wickford Gourmet building on Main Street. The move allowed the store to expand its offerings from artisan cheese and gourmet chocolate truffles to a full menu, including creative sandwiches – all named after streets and landmarks in Wickford – and pastries. Like its predecessor Bagelz, Foodies continues to serve coffee and still offers Bagelz homemade bagels.

Though you can take your food to go, the cozy atmosphere and classy furnishings at Foodies will make you want to eat in. Grab a cup of loose leaf tea and an oatmeal scone and take a seat by the fire to chat with some friends. Not looking to be social? There are plenty of quiet corners to read a good book or get some work done.

Aside from the eat-in food, Foodies offers a bounty of takeaways, such as pasta sauces, drink mixes, crackers and candy. We recommend the gourmet cheese: it's guaranteed to be a hit at any party.

This is a great store with items you won't find anywhere else. Ask about the wine slushy mix! The owners are very knowledgeable and friendly. It's a great place to discover new things.

We love walking into Wickford and stopping at Foodies for coffee and treats. Head upstairs, find a book, relax on a chair... All this and the staff are super friendly. We're so glad Foodies is here! :)
