7 NK Businesses Earn R.I. Monthly's 'Best Of' Label

North Kingstown is underrepresented in the Readers' Poll perhaps because it has so few restaurants compared to neighboring East Greenwich, Narragansett, and South Kingstown.

A handful of North Kingstown businesses were singled out in the recent "Best of Rhode Island 2013" rankings published by Rhode Island Monthly last week, including All Star status for Allie's Donuts and Gregg's Chocolate Cake.

In this category, four North Kingstown were named:

The other list is the Readers' Poll, a more straightforward "best of" list, broken down in both statewide and regional winners. North Kingstown came up a lot shorter here Readers' Poll, perhaps because of many of the categories are restaurant-related, and NK has far fewer restaurants than its neighbors to the south, Narragansett and South Kingstown.
Congratulations to all the winners!
