Family concert tonight: NK Arts Council’s Family Summer Concert Series begins tonight with Carrie Rowan and continues through July at the Town Beach. Come float on a Merry Go Music moment with Ms. Carrie’s high-energy, joyfully giggling children’s show. Loved by children and parents alike, “Ms. Carrie” has been delighting the younger set of music lovers with her easily sung, toe-tapping originals and fresh remakes of songs kids love. At 6:30 p.m. Bring a blanket, a picnic dinner and enjoy the show – rain location: Community Center.

‘Netwalking’ at Boesch Farm: Meet at Boesch Farm on South Road in EG (just over the NK border) by the trail map in the parking lot for ten minutes of story time before we set out on the trail. Come hear some true stories about heroic bees. We will study bees, their intelligence, the challenges they face, and how they provide us with all kinds of healthy food. Sponsored by Biomes. Young artists invited to Gilbert Stuart Museum: The Gilbert Stuart Museum invites young artists to participate in a new invitational Youth-Artist-in Residence program from Friday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For three days, young artists are invited to come to the museum to paint/photograph on the Museum grounds and submit their work at a Museum-sponsored exhibit the following month, entitled, Gibby’s Gallery, Children’s Art Exhibit. All visitors coming to the Museum for a tour during Gibby’s Gallery week will have the opportunity to view the children’s artwork.

Using Library Online Resources: A workshop at the Willett Free Library Friday afternoon with John Edwards that will cover Academic Search, MasterFile Premier, and NoveList. At 4 p.m.
