CONCERT: Winds Across the State (University Artist Series)

A University Artist Series concert featuring URI wind faculty artists Susan Thomas, Jane Murray, Kelli O’Connor, and Jamie Thorne, joined by RI College wind faculty artists Mary Ellen Kregler and Denise Plaza-Martin, performing a mix of contemporary and classic chamber works in the URI Fine Arts Center Concert Hall. URI’s Brian Cardany and RIC’s Robert Franzblau will conduct.

Program will include: Dixtour by  Georges Enesco, Divertissement by Emile Bernard, selections form Carmina Burana by Orff, and selections from Mozart's Gran Partita.

Ticket proceeds benefit URI Music Scholarships.
