4th Annual Armed Forces Salute Concert

The LAFAYETTE BAND of North Kingstown, R.I., will present their fourth annual “ARMED FORCES SALUTE” Concert on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 21st at 7:00 p.m. at the North Kingstown High School, 150 Fairway Dr., North Kingstown, R.I. 

The evening’s event will include a stirring concert of patriotic and popular music.   Several military, veterans and cadet training units will participate in opening flag ceremonies and military memorial ceremonies during the concert.  Additionally, there will be contemporary and historical military equipment, uniforms and memorabilia on display.  The concert is free and open to the public.  Freewill donations will be accepted at the door to help support band operations and a portion of the donations will benefit the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) of Rhode Island.  For more information, visit the band’s web site: www.Lafayette-Band.com.  The concert is made possible with a grant from the North Kingstown Arts Council and Centreville Bank.
