Vigil in NK Tonight to Honor Youth Lost and Hurt due to Impaired Drivers

The event is sponsored by the North Kingstown and Jamestown Prevention Coalitions in partnership with two North Kingstown High School seniors: Kayla Pelletier and Julia Gershkoff.

Members of the community will gather tonight at the North Kingstown Bandstand at the Town Beach tonight to honor the memory of young people in the community who have died or been hurt as a result of imparied drivers.

The event is sponsored by the North Kingstown and Jamestown Prevention Coalitions in partnership with two North Kingstown High School seniors: Kayla Pelletier and Julia Gershkoff.

"Together we hope to make a difference in the community by bringing awareness and hope for a brighter future," an invite to the vigil states. "This is an open event to anyone in the community! Thank you for joining and hope to see you all there!"

The vigil runs from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
