NK Shows Spirit for 2012 Spirit Day

The North Kingstown Spirit Day 2012 drew hundreds of locals to North Kingstown High School.

Taking advantage of the freakishly warm weather this week, hundreds of locals flocked to this year's North Kingstown Spirit Day.

The constraints of last year's chilly temperatures allowed youngsters to enjoy pony rides, courtesy of Plum Beach Equestrian Center, and ran rampant through the West Bay YMCA's bouncy obstacle course.

Inside, event-goers enjoyed demonstrations at both the environmental fair in the high school's cafeteria and the healthy community fair in the gymnasium. A bevy of local organizations – ranging from to Rhody Fresh to to to the – were on hand for this year's event.
