Homeless In North Kingstown
It turns out, even in a suburban community like North Kingstown, there are people sleeping in hidden places.
Living in North Kingstown, it might be easy to forget that some people sleep outside at night, night after night.
Real estate agent Len Iannuccilli learned just that recently.
"We were having a showing at this commercial space on Post Road. We opened the door from inside looking out and there he was sound asleep," Iannuccilli wrote in the email that accompanied the photo here.
"To our surprise when we opened the garage door this homeless person was fast asleep in the driveway," he said. "He awoke and we said, 'Good morning.' He politely apologized and went back to bed. That was it."
He added, "We should always be grateful for a roof over our heads."
