The North Kingstown Economic Development Advisory Board meets Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at the NK Chamber of Commerce. On the agenda, the board will look at proposals for a market analysis, discuss the progress of the Wickford Economic Development Board, business prospects and more. Check here for the full agenda.


The NK Chamber of Commerce is hosting this month's Business After Hours at Smith's Castle from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Tickets are $8.


On Wednesday, author Michael Tougias will be at the NK Free Library. The true-life adventure books by Michael Tougias read like fast-paced thrillers. His entertaining slide presentations keep up the pace. Come to the NK Free Library for the story behind his latest book, “A Storm Too Soon: A True Story of Disaster, Survival and Incredible Rescue.” Please register by calling 294-3306 for what will surely be a “sold out” presentation.


iDance Open House: iDance Academy is holding an open house  on Wednesday – check out the dance classes. From 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at 640 Ten Rod Road.
