Has the time or date or details of one of your events changed? If you posted the event yourself on our site, then remember – You can always change the details if you’re logged into your Patch account. Failing that, leave a comment on the item in question! The issue is that lately, people have been e-mailing us, and depending on the time of the day, it can take anywhere from 30 minutes or 30 hours to get to the item, unfortunately. As a result, I encourage you all to be as proactive as possible!

Sign up for our daily newsletter! Hey, I realize we have a lot of neat features and knick-knacks on the site, so it can be confusing to keep up with it all. Want just one simple, easy to read daily digest? Sign up for our e-mail newsletter here then. It comes out between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. roughly, every single day of the week. Amazing, I know.

Oh no! Maybe there seriously aren’t that many events today, given that it’s Minnesota Statehood Day. As a result, our events calendar for today is a bit barren. If you’re having an event, please let us know in the comments. Also, make sure it isn’t left out in the future – Submit it via this link (as long as you’re logged into your Patch account).

They Might Be Giants were just biding their time for another name change. On this day in 330, Byzantium was renamed Nova Roma, but it’s more commonly referred to as Constantinople.

Q: Why is your show so bad now??? Happy 31st birthday to Cory Monteith! Yes, he does play a 19-year-old or so on Glee, but hey, it’s TV.
