Two Rhode Islanders Walk Away with Brand New Cars in the Tarbox Toyota/Hyundai Double Car Giveaway on Labor Day Weekend!

In a day filled with anticipation and excitement, more than 1,200 people gathered at Tarbox Toyota in North Kingstown yesterday morning and more than 1,000 gathered at Tarbox Hyundai in Warwick yesterday afternoon in hopes of winning one of two cars given away by Ed Tarbox to celebrate the finale of the summer-long Tarbox Toyotathon and Tarbox Hyundai Hoopla.  In honor of the tradition of Labor Day, Ed Tarbox changed the lives of two hard working Rhode Islanders as they walked away with a new car.  Ed Tarbox decided to put a Toyota Scion xD and Hyundai Accent from his dealerships up for grabs. Saturday marked the culmination of a three-month long campaign giving people the opportunity to enter to win.

Hundreds of people gathered on Sunday awaiting Ed Tarbox to draw the name of the winner.   The day started at 11 a.m. with Tarbox Toyota giving away the Scion xD to lucky winner Kevin Gregorio of Exeter. The day continued with a 3 p.m. giveaway at the Hyundai location, where Ed Tarbox drew the lucky winner of the Hyundai Accent, John Hill of Hope Valley. (Photos attached below. "What an exciting day!" said Ed Tarbox. "Each year I enjoy the anticipation - seeing so many people coming to the dealerships with their families and awaiting the drawing of the names.  It's Labor Day weekend and we are so happy to be able to giveaway a car in each brand to two hard working Rhode Islanders. I hope these cars make their lives just a little bit easier," Tarbox said.
