General Treasurer Gina M. Raimondo recently visited the Capital Good Fund’s Financial Coaching Corps (FCC) training event to meet new volunteers, including some from the Rhode Island Society of CPAs.
“Providing opportunities for Rhode Islanders to feel more financially empowered is one of my priorities,” said Raimondo. “Our dedicated volunteer financial coaches are helping people find new and smarter ways to think about and manage their finances.”
The Capital Good Fund’s Financial Coaching Corps offer individualized coaching to help Rhode Islanders spend money wisely. All volunteers go through an in-person training session to prepare them for meeting one-on-one with clients.
