Pet of the week Scrappy

"Love is Adoptable."  It has taken Scrappy a while to learn to trust people and he is still a little unsure of strangers. Once he knows you, he meows to be petted and loves to bump heads.  He has become  very loving.  Coming from the wild, he still doesn’t like crowds, or loud noises.  The more you speak to him softly and pet him, the happier he is.  He willingly comes for treats when called.  Information  on Scrappy, and other pets available for adoption, can be found by calling the North Kingstown Animal Shelter at 295-5579, or visit us on Hamilton Allenton Rd.   Our pets may also be viewed online at www.nkanimals.petfinder.com ; Volunteers are needed to share their time and love with these forgotten yet faithful companions.  For information on volunteering please stop by the animal shelter.
