Elise Mary Jackson, born September 25, 2002, passed away September 3, 2013 at Hasbro Children’s Hospital after a prolonged 5 month fight against a rare auto immune disease while awaiting a double lung transplant.

            Elise leaves her devoted and loving parents, Gordon and Margaret Jackson of North Kingstown.  She was loved and cherished by her sisters Gretchen Jackson, Maggie Jackson and brothers George Jackson of Hope Valley and Elliot Jackson of Wakefield.  She leaves her loving grandparents, Sherry and Stephen Schwarz of Kingston, Justine Jackson of Huntersville, NC (formerly of North Kingstown), and the late George H. Jackson.  Elise was the beloved niece of Elizabeth Schwarz and Mark Bode of Wakefield, Mary Schwarz of Texas, Stephen Schwarz of Narragansett, Doreen Jackson of Coventry, Karin (Jackson) and Daniel Scullion of Huntersville, NC, and Sharen (Jackson) and Steven Brown of Medford, MA.  She was loved by her many cousins; Nicholas Bode, Daniel & Jackson Sullivan, Samuel, Samuel, Sawyer, and Sarah Brown.  She also leaves her school family of Forest Park Elementary School.  She was the sunshine of our lives and will be forever missed.

            A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 10:00 am in St. Francis de Sales Church, 381 School Street, North Kingstown.  Burial will follow in Elm Grove Cemetery, North Kingstown.  Calling Hours will be held Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm in THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown.  Kindly omit flowers.  Gifts in her memory to Hasbro Children’s Hospital PICU Unit, 593 Eddy Street, Providence, RI 02903 will be appreciated.  For online messages of condolence, kindly visit www.CranstonMurphy.com
