Santa By Sea, Living Nativity, Lafayette Band

Your guide for life in North Kingstown today, Dec. 6.

Santa by sea: Santa returns by boat to the Town Dock at 5:30 p.m. There will be hayrides with Santa from 6 to 8 p.m. starting in the parking lot ($3 donation).

Wickford Festival of Lights Concert: The concert features the Lafayette Band, for audience members of all ages. Admission is free but seats are limited. 7:15 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, 34 Main St., Wickford.

Living Nativity: Ongoing live Nativity at St. Paul’s Church on Main Street performed by the church youth group. From 6 to 7:30 p.m.

On Saturday …

Breakfast with Santa: Enjoy a full breakfast, have your child’s picture taken with Santa, presented by the NK Chamber of Commerce. Please note the breakfastw iwll be held at the Masonic Lodge (NEW LOCATION), 1515 Ten Rod Road. Call the chamber at 295-5566 for more information. Reservations not required. $8 for adults, $5 for children 2-12 and children under 2 are free.

Holiday Fair: A Holiday Fair takes place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Cold Spring Community Center, 10 Beach Street. Homemade cookies (while they last!), pies, breads, candies, jellies, gorgeous holiday greens and centerpieces, and handmade gifts for all ages. There will be a kids craft area. All proceeds benefit women's education. Sponsored by Chapter C-RI of the P.E.O. Sisterhood. For more information, call 295-8987.
