5 Things: No School, Storm Cancellations & Anything Goes
Five things to know for Wednesday, Feb. 5.
1. School is closed Wednesday and a parking ban is in effect until further notice in North Kingstown. Travel Wednesday is also going to be difficult with the storm. Stay safe, everyone!
2. Wednesday's municipal court will also be postponed. The senior center will also be closed Wednesday due to the storm. Additionally, Wednesday's "Faith and Freedom" program at the North Kingstown Free Library has been rescheduled to Feb. 13.
3. If you have a closing or cancellation due to the storm, post it to our boards section to get the word out to the community. Click here to post to our boards.
4. The Wickford Art Association's "Anything Goes" exhibit kicks off this Friday with an opening reception at the gallery from 1 to 3 p.m. Clear here for more information.
5. Wednesday Day: rain, snow and sleet before 3 p.m., then switching to rain and sleet from 3 to 4 p.m., then rain and snow after 4 p.m. Highs near 36. Wednesday Night: snow likely, mainly before 1 a.m., with lows around 21. Thursday Day: mostly sunny with highs near 29
