NK Community Chorus registration & rehearsal: Registration and first rehearsal for the North Kingstown Community Chorus take place tonight. Auditions and North Kingstown residency are not required. Subsequent rehearsals  will be Tuesdays from 7 to 9 p.m. Quidnessett Elementary School, 166 Mark Drive. 6:30 to 9 p.m.

Trivia Night Benefit for NK Food Pantry: Bravo Pizza is holding a series of trivia nights to benefit the North Kingstown Food Pantry. Teams of 2 to 6 players can register to compete in any of trivia nights from Jan. 21 to Feb. 25. Call 398-2500 or register your team on Bravo’s Facebook page. Gift Certificate Prizes to Bravo and Area Merchants will be awarded to the top 2 teams. Teams are asked to bring items for the NK Food Pantry when they come for Trivia Night. Items most in need now are: personal hygiene items such as toilet paper, dish washing soap, laundry soap, toothpaste, soaps and shaving creams, and shampoos.

ACL Prevention Workshop: OrthoCore Physical Therapy will be hosting a free education seminar covering ACL injuries and prevention. Attendees will receive a free exercise program designed to help prevent one of the most common knee injuries. Bereaved Parents USA meeting: Bereaved Parents USA/RI Chapter meets the fourth Tuesday of the month and is a free statewide support group for parents who have lost a young or adult child at any age from any cause, and who want to share with others who have had a similar devastating experience. Grandparents and siblings are also welcome to attend.  The meeting includes sharing, discussion of relevant grief topics, a lending library of books on topics related to grief, speakers, and other helpful free resources. Meditation As Medication For The Soul: Dr. Alan Post, a chiropractor practicing in North Kingstown, will lead this lively and practical workshop.
