North Kingstown Free Library, 100 Boone St, North Kingstown, RI | Get Directions »
FREE
Explore the natural beauty of crystals, minerals, and gems. Learn about the wide variety of shapes, colors, and combinations of minerals and crystals that naturally form within the earth. Did you know crystals can be twins? Or that they can form inside meteorites? Did you know that the gem amber is actually a fossil? Come and see these and other unique and unusual examples of how and where crystals form. Bruce Luscombe will give this slide talk presentation followed by a question and answer period and a chance to view the actual crystals and minerals from the slide show. Bruce and his family have been collecting and selling crystals, minerals, and fossils since the mid-60's. Please register for this program. Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
