What Are You Thankful For?

Today, as I rollerbladed on the bike path by Dave's Marketplace, I got inspired and felt the desire to thank everyone for who they are and what they do as well as be thankful for what I have and who I am.

So here I go!

I am thankful for my husband, my daughter, my friends, my family and my clients – past, present and future. I am also thankful for who I am – a strong, honest, passionate (maybe opinionated) French woman.

Lastly, I am thankful for my choices in life, because every step I took led me to where I am today. There was no mistake, there was no wrong turn, there was just my path.

I invite you to take a minute each day and see what you have, who you are and be thankful for it. We focus so much on what we don't have or what we are not. Most of us are too tall, too short, too skinny, too fat, too loud, too critical, too honest, too lazy, too crabby and you are also not tall enough, quick enough, responsible enough, etc. (You get my point.) We hear all day long (I am guilty, too) that we are too much or too little of something.

HOW ABOUT WE ARE JUST PERFECT THE WAY WE ARE?

HOW ABOUT WE LEARN TO ACCEPT WHO WE ARE?

Because, guess what, everything that you are is everything that you should be. That's what makes us so unique, so beautiful, so amazing.

I would like to receive emails from you about what you are thankful for and you can keep them coming throughout the year so I know you are on the path to being the amazing you that you ARE!

Happy New Year! May 2012 be the beginning to a new YOU!
