NKHS Cupcake Wars
The class of 2015 of North Kingstown High School have created a wonderful fundraiser event to help raise funds for their class and they need the community's help.
They will be hosting a Cupcake War on February 10, 2013 at the Lenore Cranston Gym in the high school from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. The idea is that groups of contestants will bake themed cupcakes and have them judged on various areas. Groups will be in the categories of Elementary School, Middle School, High School, Staff, Community and Professional. The cupcakes will be judged on creativity, taste and theme.
There is a $25 dollar entry fee and there must me a minimum of 100 cupcakes to present. This is your chance to show your creative and culinary skills for a good cause. So far, we have 13 teams from all over NK. We have our first elementary team registered, several middle school teams, several community teams, and seven high school teams. Registration is open until February 1st! Can't bake? Then come taste and help us select the People's Choice Award!
