You Pick: Best Car Repair Shop in North Kingstown

Vote for who you think is the best mechanic in North Kingstown in this week's "Best Of" poll.

Unless you already have a reliable mechanic, finding a place to get your car repaired can be a nerve-wracking experience. It's often expensive, and you're almost always left wondering if you got the best deal (or if the repair was even necessary).

Word of mouth is one way to find someone trustworthy, and that's why this week's "Best Of" poll wants you to voice your opinion on the best car repair shop in town.

Vote in our poll below, then share your thoughts in the comments section. If we left your favorite mechanic off the list, note that in the comments as well.

We'll leave the poll up all week then close voting at 9 a.m. Friday. At noon that day, we'll share your top local pick. Then be sure to watch the site over the weekend when we tally up the top votes and announce the shop that got the most rave reviews across all of our Rhode Island sites.

Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

If we missed a repair shop, let us know in the comments below.

Rick Mulzer has been taking care of our cars for years. He take care of our sons' vehicles and our daughter's and son-in-law's vehicles as well. There's no one else we would trust!

How about Post Road Service Center? Anthony has been honest and done great work for us in the past, whether fixing accident damage or mechanical breakdowns.

I agree! They're the best in town and won't rip you off like some places.

I am new to this area, but my neighbor recommended Tire Pros. I had an emergency recently with some tires and they were quite responsive, understanding of finances and had me on the road in under 40 minutes! Tony is remarkable. Free newsparper to read and free WiFi helps to lessen the impact of waiting. I will definitely support them!
