The second night of the Festival of Lights began with a grand entrance by Santa via boat.
Santa and his entourage sing Christmas carols at sea during their journey into Wickford.

When Santa comes to Wickford, he doesn't ride in on his sleigh. He storms the village by boat. As an eager crowd of several hundred North Kingstowners chanted "Santa," Saint Nick rolled up on The Sea Princess.

Instead of reindeer, Santa was escorted by a trio of lit kayaks courtesy of the Kayak Centre. Once on dry land, Santa joined locals on hayrides around Wickford Village for two hours. The night's festivities ended at 8 p.m.

The streets were once again filled for night two of the 25th Annual Festival of Lights as entertainment was provided by the North Kingstown Community Chorus, St. Paul's choir and The Olde English Carolers around the streets of Wickford.
