NK's Support Professional of the Year: Elizabeth Tully

SMH-Quidnessett Elementary school's Elizabeth Tully has been named the 2012 Support Professional of the year in North Kingstown.

Parents of Suzanne M. Henseler Quidnessett Elementary School are more than familiar with the name Elizabeth "Liz" Tully, the school's front office clerk who has just been named North Kingstown's 2012 Support Professional of the Year.

Tully has been with the North Kingstown School District for more than 25 years. Her work at SMH-Quidnessett is an "all-day affair": she oversees much of organizational work of the school, is involved in the school's PTO and School Improvement Team, has produced Quid's elaborate after-school plays and even makes all the costumes for the plays.

"She does all this with a smile on her face and even finds time to help train new clerks in the district," said Superintendent Phil Auger in the announcement. "She has earned the respect of our staff, our parents and her colleagues across the district."
