NK Police Release 'Crime Map' For Residents

Want to stay updated on crime in your area?

Residents now have a new tool to combat crime and stay informed as the has released an interactive crime map to the public. Accessible online to anyone, the service maps and analyzes crime data, alerts citizens about crimes in their area and allows police to quickly alert he public about crimes as they occur.

NK citizens can view a map and a grid with all crimes in their area (dating as far back as two years ago), sign up for neighborhood watch reports (which automatically email a breakdown of recent crime activity) and submit anonymous tips about crime directly to the police department.

From a burglary down the road to a string of thefts from cars the neighborhood over, each incident will be marked on the map with some basic information regarding the crime including nature of the crime, date, time and general location. Police reports are not available on the site. For full reports on select incidents, contact the .
