Opening arguments will begin tomorrow.

A panel of seven men and seven women will help decide the fate of Kimberly Fry, on trial for second-degree murder in the death of her 8-year-old daughter.

Prosecutor Stephen Regine and defense attorney Sarah Wright completed a three-day-long questioning of 53 potential jurors Thursday, settling on 14 to hear all the evidence in a trial expected to last upwards of three weeks. Twelve jurors will be selected to deliberate in the case; two will be alternates.

The trial will begin tomorrow with opening statements in Washington County Superior Court in Wakefield. Judge William E. Carnes Jr. was meeting with the attorneys during the lunch break to determine whether any pretrial motions need to be heard before opening arguments begin.
