Five things to know for Feb. 5.
1. Looking for a venue to catch the big game today? Check out our Super Bowl guide for fun festivities happening right here in North Kingstown.
2. Who doesn't like a free movie? Head over to the North Kingstown Free Library tomorrow night for a free (yes, free) viewing of Oscar-nominated "Moneyball," starring Brad Pitt. Starts at 6 p.m.
3. Also tomorrow night, the Historic District Commission takes on the controversial modifications made to 23 Washington Street. That meeting starts at 7 p.m. at town hall.
4. Help the North Kingstown Food Pantry and enjoy some delicious spaghetti at the same time. Head over to St. Paul's Parish for an open mic and delicious dinner, courtesy of Beach Rose Cafe. The event is free, but a $10 donation to the food pantry is suggested.
