The North Kingstown Police Department has issued a parking ban in advance of Friday's anticipated blizzard.
The parking ban will go into effect starting at noon Friday and covers the entire town. Motorists are urged to be off the roads by sundown Friday, during what is expected to be the height of the storm. Forecasters are predicting 2-3 inches of snow per hour.
